Although I have lived in Hawaii for many years, I am British, from sunny Worcestershire. I have not lost my English accent or my love of Marmite.

I have traveled extensively, have written a couple of books (including a 600-page erotic novel during COVID lockdown when others were watching Tiger King and baking sourdough bread), have been the CEO of a multi-national financial services firm, and the CFO of a firm of litigation solicitors in London. I've owned a luxury dog hotel, raised pedigree Highland and Aberdeen Angus cattle in the traditional Kobe style, and owned a poi manufacturer. My latest hobby is jewelry design.

I am a good listener.

I get seasick easily, yet have taken many cruises -- including a 90-day cruise from San Francisco to Sydney (that one was too long).

I love to cook and bake but enjoy dining out even more.
